News Update! We have recently made the decision to move to a new courier.

As most of our customers are aware, we found ourselves having to box our sacks of birdseed to send them out with DPD. Since our sacks are heavy-duty and water-proof, having to put them into cardboard boxes seemed hugely wasteful and not a good option for the environment; more trees felled to create boxes that ultimately ended up in a bin 24 hours later. However we have now signed a contract with a courier company called DX - Delivered Exactly and they are happy to take our sacks with no need for wasteful, expensive cardboard boxes.

I appreciate that a change of courier company can be a stress for some customers, particularly those who have a good relationship with their DPD drivers and have had an excellent service from them. Some areas had a poorer service from DPD and we hope that our new partners will improve on this.

However, we are confident that DX will offer us and our customers a first class service and we look forward to working with them in the future.

Of course, there are likely to be some teething issues but we would hope that these will be resolved speedily and efficiently to your satisfaction (and ours) and we would ask for your patience as we accommodate the changes.

We would hope the transition will be seamless for our customers. We will still be offering a Next Working Day Delivery Service to most of the UK, with a 2 day service to the Scottish Highlands. It may also be possible for us to offer Saturday deliveries at good rates, to be confirmed.

Your order confirmation email will contain a link to the DX website, where you can access delivery and tracking information. If you have provided us with a mobile telephone number you will still receive a text message with a 2 hour delivery window.
