Premium Peanuts
Buy Better, Buy Less, Do More
The El Nino effect ( which is disrupting weather patterns across the Globe ) has had a significant impact on peanut harvests - both in terms of the timing of harvest and also crop yields. This has restricted the availability of good quality peanuts, and we have not been able to source Premiums for a while. However they are back! These Brazilian size 50/60 peanuts have a smooth skin, offering garden birds around 600 kcals/100g of energy and a super high oil content. They are bound to be a success in your garden.
(All the bird peanuts we sell have been subjected to the strictest safety testing and all come with a certification of 'nil detectable aflatoxin' status - the safest standard there is)

We have a good range of peanut feeders which vary in price from £4.95 to £69.95 - so something for everyone. We have simple traditional peanut feeders, and also a range of caged feeders if squirrels are proving a challenge in your garden. If squirrels are a problem, we recommend metal feeders, since plastic ones will be destroyed in no time!
We also would recommend easy-clean peanut feeders, which have simple mechanisms to detach the feeder base from the mesh. These make life so much easier and the fact that dismantling is easy, means cleaning gets done! So much healthier for your garden birds since mouldy and black peanuts stuck in the bottom of a feeder are a thing of the past!

"Just to let you know that the new Squirrel Buster Peanut Feeder is absolutely superb. Within 5 minutes of placing it where an old standard feeder was, there were 6 Great Tits devouring the peanuts, and in the week since we have had the usual Nuthatches, Blue, Coal and Great Tits on it, and also Greater Spotted Woodpeckers - which didn't like the old one! The only fauna unhappy are the Grey Squirrels who still try regularly but are thwarted at every attempt. Would recommend to anyone!" H. Heyes
