Bird Profile - House Sparrow
House sparrows (Passer domesticus) are small passerine birds that belong to the sparrow family. They are native to Europe, Asia, and North Africa but have been introduced in North America, South America, Australia, and New Zealand!
What do House Sparrows look like?
House sparrows have a small, plump body and are around 14cm in length. They also have a black bib on their front. Female and young are duller in colour with a brown/grey streaked patterns.

House Sparrows are highly adaptable birds. They have been thriving in environments such as cities, towns! but you can find them in parks, woodlands and farmland.
