Having reviewed fledgling mixes from other companies, this one is by far the best as it isn't filled with wheat, corn and other grains and seeds that don't necessarily offer high protein content for young birds but bulk out the mix. This product is fantastic value for the price with nothing wasted. The hulled sunflower seeds means no mess too. I have been purchasing this Fledgling mix for years and seen my wild birds thrive on it.

For years we bought seed mixed from store shops and half the time birds would not eat it. When we put this farm grown seed from here we were overwhelmed with all kinds of birds not only finches and Robins and sparrows but other species were also attracted this seed you can tell just by looking at it it is high quality so happy days and happy birds.

I have never had such a diverse lot of visitors. Usually I see mainly small birds like tits and sparrows but this year, with this Fledgeling mix I have seen great variety and had much more fun. I was delighted to have several starling families: greedy chicks being shown in no uncertain terms that the time had come to feed themslves. A Jay comes regularly and a fledgeling pied woodpecker popped in followed by a rather worried parent. But my favourite is a magpie chick who decided the resident squirrel was being greedy so it pecked at it until the squirrel got the message. Thank you for Fledgeling mix: it gets eaten quickly but gives much more pleasaure.
