This is a very good feeder. The birds in my garden prefer it to other feeders dispensing the same food - sunflower hearts. The perching ring is easy for them to grasp or sit on and they can orientate themselves as they wish. And the feeder is easy to dismantle (and re-assemble) for cleaning. My only caveat is that the plastic connection between the perching ring and the base is a little weak and sometimes gets broken - probably by squirrels rather than birds - but it can be glued together again.
