New In - Big American Runner Peanuts! Large size 40/50 - lovely, high quality peanuts, with a high oil content. 

Peanuts are one of the most important foods for our garden birds. They are high in energy and rich in essential oils and protein, making them a firm favourite of many species including the tit family, nuthatches and the great spotted woodpecker. These new in, big, bold, American Runner peanuts are size 40/50 peanuts,  have a smooth skin, offering garden birds around 600kcals of energy per 100g of peanut and a very high oil content ( 45%), and are bound to be a success in your garden.

Peanuts are easy to feed and there is little wastage so clearing up wasted food is less of a problem with peanuts compared to seed. We recommend that you don't over-fill your peanut feeders - just fill sufficient for 4-5 days. This will prevent them becoming mouldy- especially in wet/humid weather. Every few days we recommend that you tip the remaining peanuts back into the original container, shake them up and refill with some fresh.

All the peanuts we sell have been subjected to the strictest safety testing and all come with a certification of 'nil detectable aflatoxin' status - the safest standard there is.
