Blackbirds forage in the leaves and flower beds for these and robins hunt them out. I'm desperate to encourage birds since neighbours cut down trees & hedges not sure if they prefer these or mealworms.

These I am told by Wildlife Rescue Centres are better than the normal dried mealworms and they disappear quickly, even the Hedgehogs love them,

These are superb value, much cheaper than mealworms but furiously attractive to all the birds as well as the fish in my pond! They last really well, (my last batch went over two months), if kept reasonably air-tight and, coupled with the consistently brilliant ordering and speedy, safe delivery service of "Really Wild," this is an easy 5-star verdict.

These dried worms are loved by the starlings, amongst others and they are given to our allotment chickens as treats. I get mobbed by the hens when I go into the pen with the Calciworm tin. They recognize the colour of the tin and surround me jumping up to get at the worms. As well as being cheaper than mealworms they are higher in calcium which gives our hen's eggs good shells.
