Our locally sourced nesting wool is a great addition to any nest box for birds or for hedgehog homes!
Help birds create a soft warm spot in nest boxes with this natural British sheep wool. Pop the wool into a spiral or suet feeder or container in the garden and delight as birds use it to help build their nests.
Sheep's wool is safe for birds and can help keep eggs and young chicks cosy and warm in a nest box, particularly on colder nights.
- Suitable for wild garden birds and hedgehogs
Nesting wool for birds - Should be made available between February and July. Don’t introduce the material into the nest space artificially.
Netsing wool for hedgehogs – Can be placed in their house or around the house as hedgehogs (like birds) prefer to make their own nest.
Comes in 30g or 100g bag.
Netsing wool could be cream, black or brown depending on supply.
