WoodStone® 32mm Nest Box
Constructed from a mix of concrete and sawdust from sustainably sourced wood, WoodStone® nest boxes, from CJ Wildlife, safeguard against attacks from predators including woodpeckers, cats and squirrels.
The combination material insulates the nest which creates a more consistent internal temperature than an ordinary wooden box. This is especially important during the breeding season and ensures that young birds have a greater chance of survival.
Unlike a traditional wooden nest box, the breathable material reduces condensation so these boxes will not rot away or deteriorate.

These 32mm hole nest boxes will be used by House Sparrows, Tree Sparrows, Great Tits and Nuthatch
Erect the box with the entrance hole ideally facing between North and South East, 2 - 4m high, away from the prevailing wind direction in the UK and also away from bird feeding areas.
We recommend using aluminium nails to hang due to the weight of the nest box and to limit any damage caused to trees.
