This attractive robin nest box is made from a hollowed-out log (complete with bark). It has a large open front hole ideal for robins, wrens, pied wagtails and spotted flycatchers. The appearance of this natural product may vary, but it's perfect for a garden or woodland setting.

The Sustainably Sourced timber wooden log is natural, air-dried, and has low thermal conductivity, providing excellent insulation for nesting birds. The wood is beautifully pale in colour and the bark is a mottled brown colour. It is remarkably light and strong and resistant to cracking and splitting.

The hinged lid of our robin nest box is easily lifted by loosening the securing screw to allow for cleaning and inspection.

The nest box should be hung from the hole in the wooden back plate at the rear of the nest box.  For Wrens the box should be low, ideally below 2m and well camouflaged with vegetation. Otherwise hang the box between 2 - 4 m high and face between North & East with clear visibility.
